XUDONG Philippines is the Cavite-based wire harness joint venture of two parent groups — Cloom Tech (the wire-harness arm of OurPCB Group, Shijiazhuang; IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 since day one) and Xudong Group (precision mold and injection manufacturer founded in Shenzhen in 2002, with operating entities in China, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand). The Cavite plant gives US-bound customers a duty-free path that bypasses Section 301 entirely.

Harness Support
In-House Group Mold Engineering — Custom Backshells & Overmolds
XUDONG Philippines does not treat connector backshells, strain reliefs, and waterproof overmolds as outsourced afterthoughts. Those harness details are designed with the group's Shenzhen and Chonburi mold engineering teams, then fed back into the Cavite harness floor as production-ready tooling and DFM guidance. The same engineering depth behind 96-cavity bottle-cap precision molds is applied to cable exit angles, sealing ribs, draft, gate position, and grip geometry. For custom overmold or backshell NRE, that means practical tool iterations can turn in days instead of the multi-week loop that comes from sending every revision to an outside supplier.

I founded Shenzhen Xudong Jinxin Technology in 2002 to build precision plastic mold tooling. Over two decades we expanded into Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand. The thing nobody tells you about wire harnesses and tooling: the parts of the BOM that cost pennies — the terminal, the strain-relief boot — are the parts that wake you up at 2 a.m. when a customer's line goes down.
We opened the Cavite plant in August 2016 because our Japanese OEM customers needed a non-China origin years before US customers asked. When the 2018 Section 301 tariffs and the 2022 UFLPA enforcement ramp arrived, the Cavite floor was already running — we had the operators, the in-house mold shop, and the PEZA paperwork. In 2025 we joined OurPCB Group's wire-harness arm (Cloom Tech) at the same Cavite plant. They brought the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 harness program; we brought the floor and the tooling depth.
The Cavite plant is the physical answer to a question every Tier-1 procurement team is now being asked: “What is your non-China backup?” Ours has been in Rosario, Cavite, since 2016 — 30 minutes from Manila International Container Terminal, ready to take a PO this quarter.

OurPCB Group (Cloom Tech parent) and Xudong Philippines formally co-invest a dedicated wire-harness business unit at the Cavite plant — combining Cloom's IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 harness expertise with Xudong's Cavite operations and in-house mold tooling. Customers spread across the US, Canada, and Europe; programs in automotive, marine, robotics, medical, and industrial control.
