Standard nickel-plated brass SMA bodies pit through 96 h salt spray, lifting the gold-plate centre pin out of contact. We spec passivated stainless 303 bodies with 50 µin gold per IEC 60068-2-52 Kb method.

Long radar test-bench leads add a 50 ps shoulder on a 25 ps step. Our matched 26 GHz armoured assemblies hold ≤ 35 ps rise time edge-to-edge, characterised on a Tek DSA8300 TDR with archived eye traces.
