What We Build for Industrial OEMs
FROM SENSOR STRING
TO MES CABINET.
XUDONG Cavite serves factory-automation OEMs and system integrators across the United States, Germany, Japan and Southeast Asia. Active programs include Siemens / B&R / Beckhoff PLC panel wiring, IO-Link sensor strings, conveyor harnesses, palletizer signal cables, MES integration drops and AC/DC industrial power harnesses for cabinet-side power supplies.
Our standard fieldbus stack covers PROFINET (Siemens), EtherCAT (Beckhoff), IO-Link (V1.1 with full IODD library), Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP. M12 connectorization is the workhorse — A-coded for sensor / actuator, B-coded for PROFIBUS, D-coded for 100 Mb Ethernet, X-coded for 1 Gb Ethernet. 7/8" connectors handle field power distribution at 8–24 A.
Programs route through waterproof harness cells for IP67 / IP69K builds, our custom harness line for multi-branch panel wiring, and electromechanical assembly for full-cabinet integration with terminal blocks and DIN-rail components.
Industrial Capability Matrix
SIX FIELDBUS-GRADE
SPECIALIZATIONS.
Conformant to IEC 61784, IEC 61131 and IEC 60529 — tested, not just spec'd.

IO-Link Sensor Strings
M12 A-coded 4-pole / 5-pole IO-Link drops. IODD library on file for major sensor brands. Class A and Class B power supply rated.
7/8" Field Power
Phoenix Contact / Murr / Lumberg 7/8" Mini connectors. T-junction and Y-junction distribution at 8–24 A power capacity.
Conveyor + Palletizer
Reciprocating-motion harnesses with strain-relief management. Drag-chain compatible variants on Lapp / Igus stocks.

PT100 / PT1000 sensor cables, K / J / T type thermocouple extensions. Ambient-rated to 200 °C with PFA jackets.
Buyer Pain Points
FOUR THINGS THAT BLEED
FACTORY UPTIME.
Challenge #1
Fieldbus mismatch on retrofit programs
Your line has a mix of legacy PROFIBUS sensors, new IO-Link nodes and EtherCAT motion drives. Most harness suppliers can deliver one protocol cleanly, fall short on the other two. You end up integrating cables from three sources.
How XUDONG addresses it
Single Cavite line builds all four major protocols (PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, Modbus) with documented bend-radius, shield-termination and pinout standards. Customers consolidate harness sourcing under one PO with one revision-control system.
Challenge #2
IP67 fails IP69K when food-grade wash-down arrives
Your sensor harness was IP67-spec'd but the line went into a meat-processing plant where 80 °C / 100-bar wash-down hits the connectors daily. Within 6 weeks the M12 housings ingress water and the line trips.
How XUDONG addresses it
We pre-screen wash-down spec at DFM stage. IP69K cells use Lapp / Lumberg / Murr connectors rated to ECOLAB cleaner protocol. Stainless-steel coupling nuts on washdown variants. Hot-water 100-bar test on critical programs before SOP.
Challenge #3
Sensor inventory churn breaks IODD compatibility
An IO-Link master expects IODD v1.1 from sensor model A; your harness was built for sensor model B which silently moved to IODD v1.0.1. Master cannot enumerate sensors at startup, line stays down for 6 hours.
How XUDONG addresses it
We maintain an IODD library indexed by sensor part number and version. New sensor introductions trigger IODD validation against the customer's IO-Link master before harness lot release. Sensor swap notifications routed through engineering review.
Challenge #4
Cabinet-side wiring labor is eating your margin
Your panel-shop labor cost is 2× the cabling material cost because every cabinet ships with bare-end wires that integrators terminate on-site. Lead-time slippage and inconsistent wire-marking quality.
How XUDONG addresses it
We deliver pre-terminated cabinet harnesses with ferrule + shrink-wrapped wire-marking that drops directly onto Wago / Phoenix Contact terminal blocks. On-site termination labor falls 40–60% on retrofit programs.

GERMAN FOOD PACKAGING
OEM (PRIVATELY HELD).
Customer: privately held German food-and-beverage packaging machinery OEM (~€450M revenue, 12-country install base). They run Siemens PROFINET on the line side and IO-Link on the sensor side, with daily ECOLAB wash-down at 80 °C / 100 bar.
We took over IO-Link harness supply Q3 2023 after their incumbent EU supplier missed two consecutive PRR targets. Pre-screened wash-down requirements at DFM stage; specified Lumberg M12 stainless-coupling connectors; ECOLAB hot-water test run on every sample. Through 2024, shipped 18,500 IO-Link harnesses across 23 SKUs with 99.9% on-time delivery and zero ingress-related field returns.

Founder Note · Mr. Fei Bo Hu
“Industrial automation is the place where IP69K stops being a marketing line and starts being a warranty obligation. Most M12 connectors are spec'd to IP67 in a lab; the question is whether they survive ECOLAB at 80 °C / 100 bar twice a day for two years. We test that — not because the spec demands it, but because the warranty bill from a missed test is bigger than the test itself.”

Scenario
During the quoting phase for a US marine vessel manufacturer, cost competitiveness was a critical decision factor against incumbent suppliers.
Challenge
The customer required high cost-competitiveness, but standard materials led to higher pricing. Using alternative Chinese-manufactured materials raised potential concerns about reliability and compliance from the customer.
Outcome
Overcame customer hesitation regarding alternative materials, proving cost-effectiveness without sacrificing quality, which led to the customer approving the tooling phase.
