Japan Specialty Cable Assemblies
Specialty cable assemblies built in Cavite, Philippines — RF and coax, fiber optic, and power cable assemblies — terminated, tested, and documented, with a non-China production origin. Built for Japanese manufacturers running a China+1 / BCP / nearshoring strategy that need disciplined quality and a documented non-China production origin.

Specialty Cable
RF, Fiber, And Power — Built To Spec.
Specialty cable assemblies leave no room for an approximate build. RF and coax assemblies depend on controlled-impedance termination and connector seating; fiber optic assemblies depend on clean termination and handling; power cable assemblies depend on lug crimp integrity, insulation, and HiPot. The Cavite floor runs each of these as a documented process, not an afterthought.
RF and coax assemblies are terminated with calibrated tooling and connector-specific torque, and tested for continuity; VSWR and insertion-loss acceptance is provided where specified, measured in-house with a vector network analyzer / scalar test set or referred to a customer-approved lab when a certified report is required. Fiber optic cable assemblies are terminated and inspected with end-face and connector-cleanliness discipline; OTDR or insertion-loss / return-loss reports are provided in-house or through a customer-approved lab depending on the connector type and report you need. Power cable assemblies are crimped, insulated, and HiPot-tested with pull-force evidence.
Connectors and contacts are sourced through brand-authorized channels with receiving traceability, and NPI starts at one piece on the intended production cell so a specialty assembly can be qualified before volume. We are explicit in the first reply about which RF and fiber tests we run in-house versus through an external lab, so the test plan is agreed before the build.
Tested, Not Assumed
Continuity, HiPot, insulation resistance, pull force, and application-specific RF or fiber acceptance ship with the sample so performance is measured, not claimed.
English Support For Japanese Programs
Japanese engineering and procurement teams work with the Cavite desk in English. Drawings, DFM feedback, inspection records, and audit communication are handled in English; we do not claim a local Japan office or on-site Japanese staff.
Lead Time & Logistics For Japan
Cavite ships to Japan by air and sea freight on regular Asia routes, with short transit relative to longer-haul origins. The close timezone overlap means RFQs are typically reviewed the same working day.
Comparison
Generic Cable Shop vs XUDONG Cavite (Specialty)
Specialty cable buyers need a shop that treats RF, fiber, and power as distinct disciplines with the right tooling and test evidence — not a generic crimp house.
| Decision Factor | Single-source China supplier | XUDONG · Cavite |
|---|---|---|
| RF / coax termination | Termination quality varies; impedance and test acceptance not documented. | Calibrated RF termination with continuity and, where specified, VSWR / insertion-loss-aware acceptance. |
| Fiber handling | Fiber termination outsourced or handled without dedicated discipline. | Fiber optic termination and inspection with the cleanliness and handling discipline the medium requires. |
| Power cable integrity | Lug crimp and HiPot evidence may not be provided. | Lug crimp, insulation, HiPot, and pull-force records for power cable assemblies. |
| Connector sourcing | Gray-market RF / fiber connectors raise counterfeit and loss-budget risk. | Brand-authorized RF, fiber, and power connector sourcing with receiving traceability. |
| China+1 / BCP fit for Japanese buyers | A China-only supply chain leaves the program exposed if capacity, logistics, or geopolitical risk disrupts a single country of origin. | Philippine-origin production gives Japanese teams a documented second source for business-continuity planning, with PEZA export records and full traceability. |
Program Process
How A Program Starts
The fastest way to qualify an overseas supplier is to make the first week concrete: drawing review, engineering questions, sample plan, quality documentation, and export assumptions. That is how we structure the kickoff.
01
Send drawings, BOM, photos, or a sample
DXF, PDF, harness-board photos, connector list, annual volume, target lead time, and required documentation are enough for the first review. A mutual NDA can be signed before drawing transfer.
02
Free DFM and material review
Cavite engineering checks connector availability, crimp tooling, fixture-board need, cable jacket, test requirements, and any overmold or backshell tooling. The first reply includes NPI, pilot, and production pricing.
03
Sample on the production cell
The first article is built on the intended Cavite production cell. Cross-section photos, pull-force logs, continuity, HiPot, and dimensional checks ship with the sample.
04
Pilot lot and control-plan lock
Pilot production validates operator cycle time, fixture repeatability, connector supply, packing method, and inspection sampling. The control plan is locked only after pilot defects and customer comments are closed.
05
Production plus export package
Commercial shipments include the PEZA export record, certificate-of-origin support, invoice, packing list, and traceability records your customs broker or freight forwarder needs.
Capability Stack
Specialty Cable Capability
RF, fiber, and power cable assemblies built and tested as distinct disciplines, with the tooling and records each medium requires.
RF & coax assemblies
Coax, microwave, and RF assemblies (SMA, N, TNC, BNC, MCX/MMCX families and similar) with calibrated termination, continuity, and VSWR / insertion-loss acceptance in-house or via a customer-approved lab where a certified report is required.
Fiber optic assemblies
Terminated fiber optic cable assemblies with end-face inspection and cleanliness discipline; insertion-loss / return-loss or OTDR reports provided in-house or through a customer-approved lab by connector type.
Power cable assemblies
Lug-terminated power and battery cables with crimp, insulation, HiPot, and pull-force verification.
Shielded & hybrid
Shielded, twinax, and hybrid power-plus-signal assemblies with EMI-aware construction.
Test & inspection
Continuity, HiPot, insulation resistance, pull force, and application-specific RF or fiber acceptance.
Sourcing traceability
Brand-authorized RF, fiber, and power connector sourcing with receiving and lot traceability.
Facility
One Philippines Floor, Group Engineering Behind It.
The Cavite plant sits inside the broader XUDONG group footprint, which spans tooling, mold engineering, and connector sourcing across Asia. That gives the Philippines floor engineering depth and supplier leverage while keeping production origin, labor base, export process, and customer-facing communication Philippines-based.
For a transfer program that balance is the point: close enough to the Asian tooling and connector network to retain engineering leverage, but with a real non-China production origin and an English-speaking interface for overseas buyers.

Certifications & Records
Audit Pack Before Production.
The certificate list is only the front page. For active programs, the real audit pack includes control plans, calibration records, operator training, material declarations, inspection logs, and origin-support documentation tied to the shipment.
